Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Associate Technical Designer / Technical Designer to join our Product Development team. This opportunity is well-suited for individuals with 1–4 years of technical design experience (including internships or entry-level roles) who want to expand their expertise in apparel construction, fit, and product execution. The role will work closely with Design, Development, and Production teams to ensure garments align with creative vision, meet quality standards, and deliver proper fit.

Responsibilities

• Support the technical design process from prototype through production hand-off.
• Develop and update graded specifications, technical sketches, and construction details.
• Participate in fit sessions; document feedback, update tech packs, and communicate changes.
• Evaluate garment samples to confirm construction, quality, and fit accuracy.
• Measure incoming samples and manage comments according to development timelines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Design, Development, Sourcing, QA, Vendors) to resolve fit and construction issues.
• Assist in maintaining pattern blocks and library references.
• Ensure styles are accurately prepared for production and delivered on schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree in Technical Design, Fashion Design, Product Development, or equivalent experience.
• 1–4 years of technical design experience in menswear.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, patternmaking, and grading.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Excel.
• Prior experience with mass-market club/retail accounts is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong eye for fit, proportion, and workmanship.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multiple teams.
