We are looking for a tax professional to help clients prepare and file their taxes. You’ll provide guidance on how businesses can minimize their tax liability now and how they can optimize their tax payment for the long term. • Check each tax form for accuracy and tax compliance
• Use all eligible tax benefits for the client
• Handle tax filings in an organized, secure manner to ensure each client’s privacy is protected
• Provide guidance for future taxes and help them make a plan for the upcoming year to save as much money as possible
• Tell clients about the tax process and what the deadlines are to make sure everything gets turned in on time

Qualifications:

• Has used standard tax computing software to file returns
• Understands state and federal tax laws and can quickly interpret sections of the tax code for basic and atypical tax forms
• Has a valid PTIN from the Internal Revenue Service
• Must have a college degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field
• Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel
