Job Title : Senior Director, Corporate Finance, Japan

Role Overview:

The Senior Director of Corporate Finance leads and oversees the execution of highly complex and strategic financial advisory engagements, ensuring alignment with client goals and long-term value creation. This role cultivates and expands senior client relationships, identifies cross-service line and market opportunities, and delivers comprehensive, integrated advisory solutions. The Senior Director plays a pivotal role in the strengthening of the organization by leading talent acquisition, driving leadership development, and spearheading firm-wide strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees the most complex and high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with client strategy and long-term value creation
• Leads key client relationships and strategic business development to expand the firm’s market presence.
• Serves as a senior advisor to C-level clients, providing forward-looking insights and influencing key decisions.
• Drives organization-wide initiatives and mentor Directors to develop the next generation of leaders.

Skills / Competencies:

• Extensive experience and deep expertise in financial advisory services, including financial analysis, valuation, and capital strategy advisory. Certain industry knowledge and experience are desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• Expertise in corporate finance, M&A process, valuation, financial analysis, Office (Excel, PPT, Word).
• Desirable skills (English)

Work Experience:

• 10–15+ years of industry experience, including substantial executive-level leadership.
• Demonstrated success in driving business outcomes, organizational transformation, and long-term strategic growth initiatives.
