Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work  ON-SITE with our client in Markham, ON .  Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• We seek a detail-oriented developer with expertise in Power BI for data visualization and proficiency in VB.NET and C# for our Syteline/Infor ERP system. 
• This role bridges the gap between business intelligence and software development, enabling data-driven decision-making through interactive dashboards and robust backend systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models
• Build and enhance ERP applications using the Syteline/Infor Mongoose platform (base code in VB.NET and C#)
• Collaborate with business analysts and end users to gather and translate requirements
• Ensure data accuracy, performance, and security across both reporting and application layers
• Maintain documentation for code, processes, and data flows
• Participate in deployment activities

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $95,000 / year. 

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in VB.NET and C#.NET.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Power BI Desktop, DAX, and Power Query.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software and IT ticketing systems, including Jira and FreshWorks.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in development using Power BI.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in SQL Server, T-SQL.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Syteline/Infor, Azure.
• A solid understanding of SQL Server, T-SQL, and relational database design.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and data integration techniques.
• Good skills in debugging and reverse engineering.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with current Windows operating systems & MS Office products.
• Experience working with Syteline/Infor.
• Experience with Azure Data Services, SSIS, or SSRS.
• Microsoft certifications in Power BI and .NET technologies.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
