Location: Ithaca, NY 14850
Contract- 3+months
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $21-$22.34/HR
Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist II to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our medium-sized Patient Service Center in Ithaca, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform quality blood draws on patients of all ages – pediatrics through geriatrics
• Handle urine, thyroid testing, and hard sticks
• Ensure proper specimen labeling, handling, and transport
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Work alongside one other full-time phlebotomist in a supportive team environment
Requirements:
• Minimum 1.5 years of phlebotomy experience required
• Experience drawing blood from pediatric and geriatric patients preferred
• Prior PSC (Patient Service Center) experience strongly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Vaccines required: TB and Hepatitis B
• Must be able to stand for extended periods (majority of the shift)
• Computer skills and experience with data entry and processing
Reliable transportation is a must. Training will be conducted at a different Patient Service Center location during the first 1–2 weeks. This includes completing computer-based learning paths.
