Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316
Schedule: Mon–Fri 6:00 AM–3:00 PM; Rotational Saturdays 6:30 AM–11:00 AM
Pay Rate: $19.35- $21.53
Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist I to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our Fort Lauderdale Patient Service Center.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for testing
• Follow established practices/procedures for clinical and forensic specimen collection
• Maintain required records and documentation
• Create a trusted, confident atmosphere for patients while explaining procedures
• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervision
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and a positive public image
Requirements:
• Minimum 6 months experience REQUIRED; 1+ year preferred
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws
• Ability to provide accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in some states—FL not required)
• Keyboard/data entry experience required
• Must live within 20–25 minutes commute to worksite (must be listed on resume)
• Must have reliable transportation (rideshare/bus not accepted)
• Must maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
Additional Details:
• Contract duration: 3-4 months
• 40 hours/week
• Days: Mon–Sat (rotating Saturdays)
Reliable transportation is a must.
