Salary: $130,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CCNP, or equivalent.
• Experience/Skills:
• - 5-7 years of experience in network administration and support of routers, switches, and firewalls.
• - Proficient with network protocols and Cisco networking equipment, IronPort, and CheckPoint.
• - Experienced with network and systems monitoring tools (e.g., WhatsUpGold, Wireshark).
• - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• - Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Pluses:
• - Capability to automate network tasks using scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• - Familiarity with Windows server administration.
• - Knowledge of Load Balancer (e.g., F5).

• My primary duty is to collaborate with the network team in the deployment, management, and troubleshooting of our company’s computer networks. This includes configuring and maintaining local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), internet connections, and other data communication systems. I am also responsible for managing network security, ensuring optimal performance, and maintaining network availability.
• Network Management:
• - I will install, configure, and maintain networking hardware and software (such as routers, switches, firewalls, servers), including ensuring hardware redundancy.
• - I will continuously monitor network traffic performance to detect potential issues (e.g., bottlenecks, latency), project network capacity, and execute necessary hardware or software upgrades.
• - Additionally, I will manage network services such as DNS, DHCP, and IP configuration.
• Network Troubleshooting:
• - I will diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
• - I will provide technical support to users experiencing network-related problems.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• - I will stay informed about emerging network technologies and ensure that our network systems comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• - I will maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams and configurations.
• Security Administration:
• - Under the guidance of our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), I will implement network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and antivirus software.
• - I will monitor and respond to security breaches, network vulnerabilities, and threats, and assist with tasks related to security audits and penetration testing.

This is a full-time, permanent position located in New York City, and we offer a competitive salary in the range of $130,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year.
