Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced General Manager (GM) to oversee operations at a key upholstered furniture manufacturing facility. The GM will be responsible for leading the entire site—managing multiple departments including production, supply chain, customer service, purchasing, and product development. This role is hands-on, highly visible across the floor, and focused on driving efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction while developing a strong leadership team.

  • Collaborate with customer service to maintain exceptional standards and integrate client feedback.
  • Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control to uphold high-end craftsmanship.
  • Track and report performance metrics and financial results to executive leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of progressive leadership as a Plant Manager, Director of Operations, or equivalent, with oversight across multiple departments.
  • Proven success managing teams of 80+ employees.
  • Hands-on leadership style, with a strong presence on the floor and ability to engage across hourly and office staff.
  • Skilled in plant operations, production planning, supply chain, and quality management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field; MBA a plus.
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and financial management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • PTO and paid holidays (including extended holiday break)
  • Employee product discounts
  • Professional growth opportunities
